This cache is hidden at the Malone Village Pond, also known as the duck pond. When arriving, you will see why! When I hid this cache, there were ducks and geese everywhere! This pond tends to have some beautiful fish in it and I even spotted a large frog on a nearby rock. Every summer, the Malone Fish and Game Club host a free fishing derby for kids here with prizes and refreshments.
To access this cache, you will need park at the front of the pond near the picnic table and lookout and then walk around to the other side of the pond to find a small path that will take you down to a small channel off of the nearby river near GZ. Please rehide as found so that this cache is not muggled by local fishermen.
Bring a lunch to sit and enjoy or binoculars to take a look at all the wildlife around!
