This cache is located at a relatively new park in town in the same location where a building once stood. Years ago this building burnt and was left standing for years until the Town of Chateaugay decided to demolish it and put in a small park instead. This area is located in the center of town and is a nice place to sit and watch the bustling little town. It is slowly growing and between the state highway running through it and a small milk plant just around the corner, this town is surpisingly full of traffic and tractor trailers. There isn't much to this park besides a few benches, a clock, a flag pole and a few picnic tables but it's more aesthetically pleasing than the previously partially burnt old building. One of the tables has a chess/checkers board built into the tabletop so bring your game pieces and a friend and stay a while!
