Appalachian State University teaches many types of classes. These range from calculus and statistics to paddleboard yoga and parkour! Crazy school right? Trust me, I've enjoyed my time attending here and can't wait to further my education here at App! Anyways, a unique class that is offered among the wide variety of classes is calligraphy. Well, it's called Hand-Lettering but it's the same! Calligraphy is a visual art related to writing. It is the design and execution of lettering with a pen, ink brush, or another writing instrument. Contemporary calligraphic practice is "the art of giving form to signs in an expressive, harmonious, and skillful manner".

From holy texts to royal decrees, Chaucer to Shakespeare, and Greek to Latin, all writing was passed down from generation to generation – strange to think about in this technological age!
It is estimated that the Romans were the first to really bring calligraphy to the masses – you only have to take a look at many of the statues throughout Italy or Roman remains in the UK to see the strikingly beautiful lettering that they painstakingly carved. They did also write in this style! I've always wanted to try this! But I can't find the ink? Where is it?
Now that you have the coordinates, the cache is a small lock and lock container hidden not too far from the posted coordinates! Good Luck! Have fun!
