Geocache Description:

I would like to add a request of you folks who find this cache. when you log it on the GeoCache App please include your home state and maybe your destination state.

            Thanks very much. daGatorX

We could not believe this rest area was not  host to a cache already, so we placed one.  This rest area is somewhat unique in that you can access it not only from the interstate but also freom city streets.  So this cache is availble for all to find!

This is a camoed medicine bottle, the hint is no longer in the name, since we had to change location from tree roots to a more mundane location!

This rest area building is also somewhat unique.  Instead of being a custom built building, this is a historical home that was restored and repurposed.  It is on the Historical Register. There is a historical marker which tells an interesting history.  There is also a leaflet that tells the story.  It is also reputed to be haunted.  Staff have reported sightings on the balcony and the scents of her perfume, as well as aromas of holidays feasts around Thanksgiving and Christmas being prepared in the kitchen.
