Black like the lava sand that makes the Playa Montaña Bermeja (beach of the vermilion mountain). This beach is equally visited for its wildness, sunbathing and surfing. [Dipping and swimming are not recommended and should be considered only carefully and when the sea is quiet.]
Green like the water of the Charco Verde, this strange lake that goes up and down with the tide. Green also like the nice fragments of semi-precious olivine mineral, which you can quite easily pick in the black sand, in particular on areas of the beach recently washed by the waves.
