东郊公园双层屋顶圆亭，岭南现代式建筑风格，是1960年代公园景观小品的典型代表，被列为广州市历史建筑。
天河公园历史：
- 1929年，公园为纪念孙中山先生而建，最初取名为“石牌中山公园”。
- 1950年代初，改为中山林场，大量种植林木果树，由此奠定了公园具有林木茂盛的基础。
- 1957年，改名森林公园。
- 1960年，改为东郊公园。
- 1994年12月，东郊公园移交给天河区管理，后改名为天河公园。
