东郊公园湖心亭建立在湖的中央，由一条从岸边延伸的长廊连接。于1964年建成，是那个年代公园景观小品的典型代表。岭南现代式建筑风格，绿色琉璃瓦顶，造型轻盈，檐下装饰精巧，玲珑通透。现已被列为广州市历史建筑。
The pavilion was built in the middle of the lake, connected by a promenade extending from the shore. Built in 1964, it is a typical representative of the park landscape vignettes of that era. It is built in Lingnan modern style with a green glazed tile roof, light in shape and exquisitely decorated under the eaves, which is exquisite and transparent. It has been listed as a Historical Building of Guangzhou.
