Geocache Description:

December is the twelth month of the year and has 31 days in it.  December is the start of the winter season.  December comes from the Latin word "decem" which means ten, but because of the Romans adding January and February, it became the twelth month of the year.  Winter begins either on the 21st or the 22nd of the month and this is the shortest day of the year in terms of sunlight.  December has three birthstones, the most of any month, and those stones are turquoise, zircon, and tanzanite.  There are two flowers for the month of December and they are narcissus or holly.  And finally, the two Zodiac signs for December are Sagittarius and Capricorn

About this cache:

The cache that you are seeking is at the listed coordinates above.  I have provided the nearest parking to the container below.  The container that you are seeking is a medium sized lock n lock container.  Because this cache is a letterbox hybrid, there is a stamp and ink pad inside the container.  They are in their own lock n lock to keep them dry.  The stamp and ink pad are NOT swag, so please do not take them.  If the stamp does end up stolen, an imprint of the stamp is on the inside of the cover.  You will need this information for GC9WEJ8.  The cache is located not very far off the trail.  This cache is in Settlers Cabin.  The hours for Settlers Cabin are dawn to dusk.  So, please no night caching for this cache.  You could encounter people riding bikes along the trails in Settlers.  Please stay on the trails for as long as you can to not bushwhack to the container.
