Round Top Mountain, located just south of Jasper, has a nice set of trails which provide some great hiking and views, especially in winter. There is a loop trail which goes around the mountain along the bluff base. And there is a spur trail that leads to the mountain's top and two nice vistas. If one is looking for a great place to get outdoors and spend a morning or afternoon hiking, this is the place! And there are also several geocaches that can be found while one is on the trails.
This geocache is placed near the parking area and trailhead. While it does not require hiking to find it, you should take the time to hike the trails while you are here. You should be able to park within a few feet of the cache. You are looking for a camo'd pill bottle. Be sure to bring a pen or pencil, because the cache has none!
