This collection of caches has nothing to do with the Church Micro series in the UK. Given that the Australian 2016 census indicates that No Religion and Jedi Knight are the fastest increasing classifications of the optional religion question "What is the person's religion?" it is not surprising that there is surfeit of empty churches that have been repurposed.
Farina's Catholic Church was built on this spot in 1897 and it functioned here until 1936. Then it was dismantled and relocated to Murray Town where it continued to operate until a final mass in 1994. Later the building was sold and relocated yet again to Goolwa Beach where in 2010 it was being used as a Real Estate Office. All that remains now in Farina is a memorial site with an interpretive sign. You will be able to easily see this from the posted coordinates.
To find the cache you will need to do examine the nearby memorial to the church and record these numbers for the letters A to K.
If the top of the black cross on the side of the structure reaches above the roof line A = 0,
if it is even with the roof A = 4,
if it is below the roof line A = 5.
If the roof line is curved B = 1 for South and 4 for East. If it is an inverted V then B = 4 for South and 1 for East. If it is virtually flat then B = 2 for both S and E.
On the story board are some numbers. If you can, choose numbers in brackets.
The first two digits of the price of the building are CD.
The digits of the longest dimension are E and F, the digits of the middle dimension are G and H, and the digits of the smallest dimension are I and J
Finallly if there is a logo printed on the back of the storyboard sign then K = 6. If not then K = 5
The final coords can now be calculated
