Geocache Description:

This geocache is part of the Murweh Triangle Geoart.  It is NOT at the published coordinates.  To find the cache, you need to work through the following.

Kids these days start learning Geometery in Pre-School, where they are able to identify circles, squares, rectangles, and ovals etc., easily. By the end of Second Grade, they may recognise and draw shapes having specified attributes, such as a given number of angles or a given number of equal faces.1 Identify triangles, quadrilaterals, pentagons, hexagons, and cubes.

Soon they are able to find areas of triangles, heights of triangles and angles in triangles.

So let's revise some basic Triangle knowledge:

A triangle has three sides, three vertices, and three interior angles.
The angle sum property of a triangle states that the sum of the three interior angles of a triangle is always 180°

Also, if there is a triangle with two side of equal length, then the two angles at the end of each length are also equal

And then when an exterior angle to one of the exterios angles is added in, they both total 180° also.

To clarify, take a look at this short YouTube Video.

Now that's all sorted, look at the following four scenarios, and work out the required angles.   Then you can manage the final coordinates.

  1. Within a triangle, two angles are known: 35° and 25°.  A is the remaining angle.
  2. If two internal angles are 39° and 10°, then B is the third angle.
  3. A triangle with two sides equal has an angle of 65° at the base of one of the two equal sides. What is C, the angle between the two equal sides?
  4. A triangle sits along a straight line.  One external angle is known to be 70°, while the angle at the apex of the triangle is known to be 40°. What is D, the other exterior angle on the straight line upon which the triangle sits?

S26° 24.A+B+C+D  E146° 16.A+B

21/09/2022 - a Grader has moved the tree. so a new tree means an adjustment to the coordinates:

South: minus 0.003 and Eadst minus 0.003
