Where: Kurth Kiln Regional Park, Scout Loop Track, Gembrook, Victoria
Start: Saturday 17 September 2022 - 6:00pm
End: Saturday 17 September 2022 - 7:00pm
Kurth Kiln Regional Park is well known for its wildlife, where you might hear or see koalas, numerous gliders and large forest owls. It is however, the old WW2 charcoal kiln and army huts that are the real gem here. Relatively intact and the only one of its type in Australia.
The park also has a number of free campsites for those that wish to stay in the area longer, however there is no booking system, so it is first come, first served.
Some parking is available along the loop track or if busy, there is parking at the beginning of the loop near the many day use and picnic areas.
Don't forget to bring your torch!
Your Geo-Pup is welcome in Kurth Kiln Regional Park, but should be on a short lead and well controlled at all times.
