Geocache Description:

18 September 2022, 10:30 - 11:30

Geocaching Victoria is a not-for-profit incorporation that seeks to promote the pastime of geocaching in the state of Victoria. Our mission is to bring the geocaching community of Victoria closer together, to encourage relationships across the state and also highlight the great geocaching experiences that exist in our state to others across Australia and around the world.

We do this by hosting small and large scale events and CITOs around Victoria as well as supporting others who also hold events around the state. We are constantly looking for opportunities to develop new and exciting ideas that can aid and enhance the geocaching experience of anyone within the state of Victoria.

Campfire Morning Tea - Whittlesea Lead Up Event

Full details of this event are listed below…

  • Start: Sunday 18th September 2022 @ 10:30am

  • End: Sunday 18th September 2022 @ 11:30am

  • Location: Kurth Kiln Regional Park, Scout Loop Track, Gembrook, Victoria.

  • Individuals attending this event must comply with the Government Health requirements in place at the time.

  • It is only 9 weeks until the big event in Whittlesea in November. This is a great chance to gather around a campfire for some bush morning tea and catch up with fellow cachers, ask any questions you may have of the committee, or search for a puzzle hint to nudge you along on a solve.

  • There will be some yummy camp fire cooked treats to enjoy including toasting marshmallows on the fire, and maybe even some world famous* cheesymite damper.

*may not actually be world famous

  • Hot water will be available so bring along a mug if you'd like a coffee, tea or even a hot chocolate - with marshmallows!

  • It doesn't matter if you've been caching for a decade, a year, or have only just started in the past week. Come along and meet fellow cachers, share stories and learn from each other.

  • Your Geo-Pup is welcome in Kurth Kiln Regional Park, but should be on a short lead and well controlled at all times. You might like to bring them some snacks so they don't feel left out!
