Hidden Beach is a waterfront area open for public use, located along Whidbey Island's east shoreline. Located between Coupeville and Greenbank. Numerous decomposing pylons which at one time supported fishing canneries are still seen, many of them lined up in rows. The water is quite shallow here, and not suitable for swimming. It's a beautiful spot and many a waterfowl use this area as a refuge and feeding ground. I saw a Bald Eagle at the water level awaiting a morning meal. I most recently observed over 200 ducks floating along in formation.
There is a small paved parking area a few 100' south of the cache. A primitive road leads north to within 25' of the cache.
Have fun and BYOP.
