This cache is intended to get Icelandic cachers and foreign visitors a little closer to the beautiful little town of Isafjördur.
The cache is easy to solve with the help of the English Wikipedia entry ;-)
So you have to get in virtual touch with Isafjördur first ;-)
Later at place you will be rewarded with a magnificent view on the town and the harbor ;-)
We have been here with the AIDAluna cruise ship for a day in June 2022.
On the one hand, it looks impressive when such a large ship almost blocks half of the port, but also when more passengers go ashore than Isafjördurs quantity of inhabitants.
I cant judge whether all this is good, especially since the all-inclusive tourists probably wont spend any money in town themselves. But, as you will read in the article, the tourist sector is growing here as well, as fishing gets more and more restricted.
