Geocache Description:

Welcome to the Reinhardt Redwood Tour (RRT).  A number of great East Bay Regional Parks have great cache series, such as the Assault on Briones (still going strong), or the previous one in this park, "10 Redwood Caches!" (now mostly archived).  This park has been a favorite of mine since childhood, and now that I've found (nearly) all the 50ish existing caches hidden here it's time to contribute a series of my own.

This cache marks Redwood Peak, the highest point of the park at an elevaton of 1,619 feet.  You can see the interesting boulders have received quite a bit of attention, so the cache is hidden down the side a bit to avoid notice. Be careful to stay on the proper side of the fence to avoid the archery range to the west.

This is stop 4 of 7 traditionals hidden around the park.  Take note of the 3-digit Code C written on the back of the log.  Find all 7 (in any order) and collect the codes hidden on the back of the each log to determine the location of the finale: GC9WM1E

This cache is also #50 on the Nifty Ninety series of caches on peaks around the Bay Area.  Check out the full list at: BMAJPRC and the first tier of a series of "encouragement" caches: GC9X22Y
