Take some time, walk around, and enjoy the beauty of the area! This area is based around the Peltz Homestead and other buildings dating back to the mid-1880s.
Some buildings include a wooden jail house circa 1860 in which a man hung himself in 1882, and a 140 year-old granary in which locals would buy grains and feed.
In 1989 the granary was bought and renovated for retail use. The former hotel was bought by the same man Realtor Clint Williams, originally intending the hotel to become a 5-star hotel. However, after a wedding on New Year's Eve in 1991, Williams decided to convert the hotel.

From the old hotel, be sure to walk around the area and check out nearby David Fortier Park and take a short easy hike on the trails. A scenic historic covered bridge nearby connects you to the park. Take some pictures and enjoy the scenery!
