The challenge cache IS at the posted coordinates. Challenge caches are a great way to celebrate milestones. Please read below for the logging requirements for this challenge.
We are fortunate in Oregon to have five caches that were placed in the year 2000, the year geocaching began. Many states don't have any! Oregon also currently has 91 caches that were placed in the year 2001. To qualify for this challenge, you have to find at least 20 caches that were placed in Oregon during the years 2000 and/or 2001. I hope you've enjoyed finding all of Oregon's oldies as much as I did! Feel free to add a picture of your favorite one if you'd like.
You are welcome to find and sign the log at any time. To log a “Found it,” you must also qualify by completing the requirements. If you don’t yet qualify, simply “Write a note” and log the cache once you do qualify. Please use the checker below for verification.
The hide itself is fairly simple, a park and grab. The D/T rating reflects the work in finding the caches to qualify for the challenge. Please leave the container attached. You might need a tool to extract the log.
