Welcome back to the island! It seemed that everyone had a good time last year, so I thought we'd do it again. We'll meet at the posted coordinates at 10 a.m. You can attend the event while on the island or from the comfort of your own watercraft. We'll chat for awhile and take a group photo. I'll also have a trackable log book to sign.
Note: Clinton Lake is a state park and there is typically, but not always, an access fee. The parking that involves the shortest water route to the island is just to the west of the island north of the "beach" area. However, if you are coming from Johnson County or Kansas City, it takes much longer to drive there than it might seem as you have to drive to the opposite side of the lake. The Marina would offer much closer parking, but probably an extra 30-45 minutes of paddling on the water.
