Geocache Description:

Chester the Tree, as we call him, was planted here by William whipple, upon his return to Portsmouth from Philadelphia, having signed the Declaration of Independence in 1776.

There have been a few people posting the DNF, if you are looking at the base of the tree, you wont find it, you do not need to gain access to the property to find it.  The coordinates should be spot on, look there. we wanted to bring people to see this beautiful tree, but be as respectful to the property as possible.
