This cache along with several others is located along Hunter St. A road that is not accessible by vehicle without a key for the gate so you will have to hike it. The hike is about 7km to the end if you go by Hunter St. it is a fairly gradual incline. You will see fantastic views of Stave Lake while on your hike once you get up to the top.
This one is located in a mossy log close to creek so at times it could require wading to get to.
