"Always Be My Baby" is a song by American singer-songwriter Mariah Carey from her fifth studio album Daydream (1995). It was released by Columbia Records on March 9, 1996, as her third US single. It was acclaimed by music critics and was a commercial success, becoming Carey's eleventh chart topper on the US Billboard Hot 100, tying her with Madonna and Whitney Houston for most number-one singles by a female artist at the time.

Did you know? The music video for "Always Be My Baby" was the second video Carey directed and it was filmed on location at Carey's sponsored charity, the Fresh Air Fund upstate New York camp. The Fresh Air Fund was founded in 1877 and provides free summer vacations in the country to New York City children from low-income communities.
