Geocache Description:

Daniel Family Cemetery

The Daniel Family Cemetery was established here in 1850 near this pioneer Dallas family’s home.  Be sure to take the time to read the historic marker at the GZ.  While this cemetery is locked, the cache is accessible from outside the fence.

In addition to the old Daniel family graves, legendary Dallas real estate developer Frank Trammell Crow’s ashes are also interred here, as well as at the Texas State Cemetery in Austin.  His wife, Margaret was the great-great-granddaughter of Frances Simms Daniel.

While parking is not permitted along Airline Rd., you may park in the short entrance driveway, or on weekends, along the side streets.

Cache is not inside the cemetery.

You are looking for a hidden tube, which has room only for a log so BYOP.
