Geocache Description:

20 July 2022, 19:00 - 21:00

Where: Outside the The Crooked Billet, 2 Westbrook End, Newton Longville, MK17 0DF (Inside if it's raining).

Why: Because Alibags told us to (Just one last time!)

Who: Cachers from Bucks, Beds, Herts and beyond – everyone is welcome. Are you new to caching or cache events? Say hello and we will make you especially welcome.

What: This is the 157th of an ongoing series of monthly events at various locations, handy for natives of the three counties to talk caching, plan expeditions, swap TBs/Geocoins.   As it's summer, the event is outside and this also helps people who are still not 100% comfortable with close indoor contact.   If it rains we are welcome to go indoors, but we will be outside with a number of tables.

There is some parking on site however, sometimes it gets busy, so please be careful if parking elsewhere.

Anything else?: Well yes! Back in 2008, Alibags, Simply Paul, Norfolk12 and I decided we'd start a local event. Alibags put it on Simply Paul to organise the first one, me to set a pile of caches and we went from there! For those of you who've been geocaching for a while, the page can be found here

There are some old famous faces there - some of whom are sadly no longer with us. Some have moved away and some are no longer geocaching.

Since the first one, we have met many new faces but sadly our time to move on has now come. We will be joining Hampshire cachers although we hope to see many of you at a mega or maybe even a local event. This is our last hurrah so please do come and say hi and bye.

If you've never met us, then even better, come say hello. It would be great to make new friends before we leave.
