Just another bridge cache. Please use caution when parking along the shoulder of the road to search. There is no parking area, and the road can be busy.
This is the main entrance to the Lazy River Acres area along the Missouri River. The dip in the road is to allow water to cross as the Ponca Creek has been known to go out of it's banks.
This cache is part of the Pvt. George Shannon Trail caches that will lead you throughout Northeastern Nebraska. Pvt. Shannon became lost near here while traveling with Lewis and Clark and the Corp of Discovery in 1804.
