Cacheholic/s - a person/s who has been bitten by the Geocaching Bug and often finds themself/ves doing one or many of the below:
- sneaking off to find a cache when they should be working
- sticking their hands into all sorts of odd places
- raiding the plastic cupboard, medicine cabinet and garage for cache containers and supplies
- frequently checking their email for notification of new caches
- planning their trips around where the closest unfound cache is
- rushing off at all times of the night to claim an FTF
- raiding the kids toy box for swag
- driving yourself nuts trying to solve a puzzle
- having a heap of new words and acronyms in your vocabulary, like "TFTC" and "muggle"
- developing a sudden interest in rocks
- looking at places you drive past and saying "That would be a great spot for a cache" or "I'm sure we've found a cache here"
- becoming friends with people you would otherwise have never met!
The best treatment for this obessive hobby is to go out and find or hide another cache - or even better attend this Event where we can swap stories of our latest logging adventures.
Levels of geocaching obsession will vary so come one, come all - it doesn't matter if you've just started caching or have been caching for years, join our Cacheholic family for a coffee and a CatchUp!
