Herndon's First Library Cache!
I don't know about you, but I love library caches, and am so excited to have finally placed one!
The given coords are a physical stage. I could not just put the coords on the building and tell you to go inside and find the cache (as I was originally planning) because there needs to be sufficient GPS usage. Go to the given coordinates and find the container which will give you a clue on how to find the Final.
I don't usually do FTF Prizes any more since they can add up (although you should know, if you FTF any of my other hides that does not have a specified FTF prize, you may take whatever piece of SWAG you want without trading) but I felt like this warrants an exception. FTF prize is a Hot Wheels Slugbug.
This is a great cache for kids. So bring them if you can. Also bring your trackables since there is plenty of room.
Please Read Before Looking:
- Please be respectful when inside, and follow all library rules and etiquette. Do not ask for help from the librarians, as you are supposed to find it yourself, feel free to ask me however if you need a nudge. If they ask you though, you may tell them what you are doing.
- The cache is not registered in the library catalougue, so do not go searching there (unless you want to check out a book).
-
Please DO NOT take out (They are not SWAG):
- The laminated piece of paper for non-geocachers who accidentally find this cache
- The logbook and red pen for the logbook (duh)
- The pack of markers. Those are for coloring in the logbook/drawing book and to be left in the cache.
- The container for trackables, although you may take and leave trackables inside that container.
-
Please replace everything exactly as found to ensure longevity.

This cache is obviously placed with permission and the librarians know of its existence.
A HUGE thanks to JPWAVE for being instrumental in this cache's placement and going above and beyond to make sure this cache was published.
Fun Fact: Did you know that geocaching is the main plot point for the 113th book of the Boxcar Children?
Final Parting Advice:
Check out a book while you are there.
