Cache Location
Chain Park is a 37-acre park that sits on the Leaf River in Downtown Hattiesburg and spans over great amenities for locals and visitors alike to enjoy. It was named after former Hattiesburg Mayor Bobby Chain who bought the land back in the early 1980s. At the park, groups or individuals can make use of ADA-compliant walking paths, five different exercise stations, a shaded resting and picnic area, as well as two playgrounds and a Born Learning Trail for interactive learning. In 2018, the Longleaf Trace was extended to Chain Park, officially making the 44-mile trail the longest Rails-to-Trails in the State of Mississippi! Stay and play at Chain Park!
