THE EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED FROM 9/10/22 TO 9/17/22 DUE TO HIGH WINDS, FIRE DANGER, AND SCHEDULED POWER OUTAGES. THERE ARE A LOT OF DEAD TREES UP THERE THAT COULD FALL. POSTPONEMENT ALLOWS US TO TAKE CARE OF OUR HOMES AND ANIMALS WITH NO POWER.
I will be hiking in Friday 9/9/22 in the afternoon or early Saturday morning., please contact me if you want to ride with me or follow me. I would like to hike in from the Molalla side if the roads are open. I wonder how my trail-cam fared over the past three years with the fires.
Day Trippers are welcome. Please Let us know what your plans are through comments or "will attend" notes.
Saturday morning I will be providing pancakes. Feel free to bring your favorite breakfast item (let me know what you are bringing).
The formal meeting time for the event will be from 7pm to 8pm at the campground. feel free to bring an item for the raffle.
Camping, fishing, and hiking are the norm. Geotales from the past years will abound.
There is a small spring nearby that provides some really cold water. I have drank it unfiltered with no deletrius effects, it has a slightly mossy overtone. Bring a filter if you wish.
