Skulptura je osmišljena na način da glagoljično slovo ` (Ž) stoji povrh glagoljičnog slova E (E) na istome kamenu. Slova predstavljaju usklik: „Žanac est!“ što bi u slobodnom prijevodu značilo: „Evo, tu je izvor Žanac!“. Mnogobrojni izvori pitke vode jedan su od razloga što su ljudi još u mlađe kameno doba nastanili upravo područje bašćanske doline. A i danas se cijela dolina opskrbljuje vodom iz vlastitih izvorišta i vodosprema.

The sculpture was imagined in such a way that the Glagolitic letter ` (Ž) stands in front of the Glagolitic letter E (E) on the same stone.
These letters represent the exclamation: “Žanac est!” which translated means: “So this is the Žanac source!”. The numerous drinkable water sources are just one of the many reasons why even back in the Stone Age, humans, from all over the island of Krk, first settled precisely in the Baška Valley. Even today the entire Valley draws water from its own sources and water reserves.
