Welcome to the Florida National Scenic Trail. This is an excellent trailhead for anyone who wants a good hike but doesn't have access to an off-road vehicle. Paved parking right along US-19. Hike east to Alexander Springs or northwest to Farles Prairie. Both directions are absolutely beautiful!
You seek a small cylinder hidden in an interesting location. If you stand too close you can't see it. If you take two steps back, there it is.
