On this NASA spaceshot of the earth you can almost see the earth's atmospheric layers, which are named from lowest to highest, the troposphere, stratosphere, mesosphere, thermosphere and exosphere. That seems a lot - I wonder how much it weighs?
Well, atmosphere is 1,000,000,000,000,000 tonnes! That's the same weight as 570,000,000,000,000 adult Indian elephants.
I can't imagine that.
