Ever heard of 'Psychogeography'?
It's easy to be a psychogeographer; all you need is your body, your mind, and a place to explore. Usually, people gravitate towards urban areas, but spaces within nature—such as along the Kalaru-Tathra bike/foot path—offer an equally rich experience. Get yourself out there, and then, wander. Detach yourself from the usual expectations of what you would do in that space. You are not marching along a path to reach a final destination, but going where your mind leads you, where your interest is caught. Engage with all of your senses: what can you hear, smell, feel? If you spot a funny shaped plant, go to it, look at, feel the texture of its leaves. If you hear trickling water, stop and listen, or search for the source. Drift.
You might prefer to run or ride rather than walk, but you're bound to see some interesting things along the Kalaru-Tathra bike/foot path in any case. So, after you've logged a find perhaps, try your hand at psychogeography and see where your mind—not your GPS—leads you.
