A Sóháta, 8 ha kiterjedésű, a Korond patak mentén látható természeti ritkaság. A patak utat törve magának, csodálatos szorost alakított ki. Legmagasabb pontja a Sóshegy, 576 méter. A szoros barázdált sziklái, igazi boratvaéles sólándzsái napos időben igazi ragyogással várják a kalandvágyó túristákat. A vakítóan fehér sófolyások nem egyszer meglepetést tartogatnak. A stabilnak tűnő, amúgy vékony sóréteg alatt igazi csapda szunnyad, térdig sülyed a sárba a gyanútlan bámészkodó. Itt a kanyonbam él a Vörös Sóvirág (Salicornea herbacea) is, körülötted pedig igazi sókarfiolok, kissebb barlangok, dolinák, vagy azok beszakadt változata, megannyi bizonyíték a víz, ma is létező, felszínalakító munkájára. Az úttól a kanyonig vezető ösvény nyáron, a fák, és ivóvíz hiánya miatt tikkasztó, de azt is feledteti e különleges táj varázsa!

Locul numit Sohata este o zonă protejată, pe o suprafață de 8 hectare, dealungul pârâului Corund, care săpându-și drumul, a tăiat un canion frumos. Punctul cel mai înalt este Muntele de Sare (576 m).
Stâncile brăzdate ale canionului, cu mii de muchii ascuțite, strălucitoare în zilele însorite așteaptă turiștii dornici de aventuri. Scurgerile de sare orbitor de albe nu de puține ori înșelătoare, ascunzând un noroi negru, în care te scufunzi pe neașteptate. Aici trăiește planta denumită Floarea roșie a sării (Salicornea herbacea), iar de jur împrejur se pot admira adevărate formațiuni de "conopidă" din sare, peșteri micuțe, doline și doline surpate, sute de dovezi ale formării continue a pejsajului, sub efectul apelor.
Din cauza lipsei copacilor, drumul de la șosea până la canion, pe timp de vară, este anevoios, dar merită, este un peisaj de excepție!

Sohata is a 8 ha natural rarity laying along the Korond stram. The stream breaing his way formed a wounderfull pass. Its highest point is the Sóshegy of 576 meter. The corrugated rocks of the pass, its real as sharp as a razor salt-spears wait for adventurer turists with real glamour in sunny times. The dazzlingly white salt-flowage keeps surprize not once. Under the secure looking otherwise thin salt-layer there is a real trap so the guileless onlooker may sink till knee. Here lives in the canyon the Statice (Salicornea herbacea) as well and arround it there are real salt-cauliflowers, smaller caves, dolinas or their caved in variants evidences of the water's still existing surface forming work. The path going from the road to the canyon sumertimes beacouse of the lack of trees and drinkwater is closish but the lure of this special landscape makes us forget about it!
