Šis lobis - tai vienas iš ClimateQuest maršruto lobių. Jų ieškodami visoje Lietuvoje atrasite vietas, kurios yra paveiktos klimato kaitos arba kaip tik padeda šį reiškinį pristabdyti. ClimateQuest lobiai išslapstyti 8-iose Europos šalyse, kurios dalyvauja bendrame projekte. Taigi, jei patiks lobiai Lietuvoje, kviečiame jų toliau ieškoti Latvijoje, Slovakijoje, Čekijoje, Bulgarijoje, Vokietijoje, Vengrijoje ir  Rumunijoje.

Ieškodami lobio „Saulė yra sprendimas“ keliose vietose turėsite atlikti užduotis ir jas išsprendę gausite skaičius, kurie atskleis galutines lobio koordinates.

1 ETAPAS
Esate šioje vietoje: N 55° 59.130' , E 022° 56.501'

Tai Kuršėnų Daugėlių pušynas, kupinas ramybės, apsuptas Ventos upės vingio. Pušyne įrengtoje estradoje vyksta miestelio renginiai, tačiau įprastą dieną čia ramu, pušimis laigo pūstauodegės voverės, o žmonės bėgioja, vedžioja šunis, leidžia laiką jaukiose pavėsinėse. Dauguma gyventojų džiaugiasi gyvendami netoli žaliųjų zonų, ypač tokių, kuriose vis dar gausu senų medžių, kaip šiame pušyne. 

Užduotis:
Esate vienoje iš Daugėlių pušyno pavėsinių. Kiek lentų yra pavėsinės stale?
Sudėkite gauto dvinario skaičiaus abu skaitmenis ir gausite skaičių, kuris galutinėse koordinatėse užkoduotas raide „X“.

2 ETAPAS 
Esate šioje vietoje: N 55° 59.424' , E 22° 57.323'

Ši siena būtų buvusi tiesiog pilka gamybos įmonės siena, tačiau moksleiviai pavertė ją vaizdinga Kuršėnų krašto ir tradicijų pasakotoja. Žmonės pasakoja legendą, kad kadaise po stiprios liūties miestelio pievos patvino ir po vandeniu paniro grėbėjų jau suruoštas šienas. Tuomet atskubėję žmonės šaukė „Kur šiens?! Kur šiens?!“ -  nuo to laiko miestas ir vadinamas Kuršėnais. 
Įsivaizduojate - miestelio, kur paslėpėme su klimato kaita susijusio maršruto lobį pavadinimas galbūt kilo taip pat po nelinksmos klimato išdaigos?

Užduotis:
Supratę, kad suruoštas šienas gali lengvai nuplaukti (tikrąja to žodžio prasme), kuršėniškiai ėmėsi kito amato - puodininkystės. Ši veikla Kuršėnuose klęsti nuo praėjusio šimtmečio. Taigi Kuršėnai - puodų sostinė! Kiek iš viso puodų suskaičiuojate per VISĄ šią sieną? Gavę dvinarį skaičių, sudėkite abu jo skaitmenis. Tuomet gausite skaičių, kuris galutinėse koordinatėse užkoduotas raide „Y“

This cache is part of the ClimateQuest game that will take you around interesting places in Lithuania and show you the ones affected by climate change or helping to stop it. To complete the ClimateQuest you will find six caches in Lithuania. If you "catch the hook" you can travel beneath country's borders and look for other caches of this route in Latvia, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Hungary, Germany and Romania. 

While searching for the cache "Sun is the answer" you'll have to solve a few tasks to find out the final coordinates. 

STAGE 1
Your quest starts here:  N 55° 59.130' , E 022° 56.501'
You are at the Daugėlių pine forest of the small Lithuanian town Kuršėnai. Pine forest is calm, surrounded by the river Venta, meant for calm walks or city's celebrations. On the ordinary day squirrels jump from one pine branch to another, families go for a walk here and teenagers chill in cozy gazebos. Many inhabitats of Kuršėnai are happy to live near green areas like this one, expecially full of really old pine trees.

Question:
You are near one of the gazebos of the Daugėlių pine forest park. How many planks does the table of this gazebo have? After counting them you should get a two-digit number. 
Sum up those two digits and you will get the one digit number that is hidden behind letter „X“ in the final coordinates of the cache. 

STAGE 2
Your next stop is here: N 55° 59.424' , E 22° 57.323'

This wall could have been just the simple grey wall of a manufacturing company, but local school pupils had turned it into the colourful story of Kuršėnai history and traditions.
There is a legend that once, after a very heavy downpour the meadows and the hay prepared by farmers submerged under water. Inhabitats came to witness this and started to shout in fear: „Kur šiens?! Kur šiens?!“ ("Where's the hay?" - in dialectal Lithuanian). From that event, the city is called Kur-šėnai. 

Can you imagine this? Name of the town, where we've hidden the cach, which is connected with the topic of the climate change, is inspired by an extreme climate event!

Question:
After finding out (in a hard way) that the hay can easily drown inhabitats of Kuršėnai had found another more reliable craft - pottery making. This craft thrives in Kuršėnai from the last century. It's said that Kuršėnai is the capital of the pots! So how many of the pots IN TOTAL you can count pictured on this wall? You will get the two-digit number. Sum up those two digits of it and you will  get the number, that hides behind letter „Y“ in the final cach coordinates.
