The cache container RITR log paper so even if damp, you should be able to sign with a ballpoint pen or pencil.
This location has been the site of a couple of different caches over the years - today I added another one on a spring maintenance run. This cache is located along the Bald Head Peninsula, which is only accessible by boat/PWC/SUP/water craft at the time of placement it was an extremely windy day, so I parked my PWC on the "bay" side and walked across to the beach, then down to the cache it was about 1.2km walk round trip from the landing spot on the east side of the island to the cache and back
Please remember that Lake Ontario can blow up quickly and it's better to be safe than sorry.
