Mile Marker Zero – Location 24.5552, -81.8039
Depending on whether you are going or coming, this street corner in Key West is the beginning or end of U. S. Highway 1. Given the propensity for drunken revelry in the keys, I’m kinda surprised that this doesn’t get stolen on a weekly basis. Maybe the fact that local gift shops sell replicas, has something to do with that?
