Located on the western shores of Cyprus, and in the charming and traditional village of Pomos, is a unique rocky cave of natural beauty. Nestled deep beneath a cliff, this magnificent site features an opening towards the sea and includes a natural pathway with sweet water running through it.
The cave is often referred to as “Dragon’s Cave,” where it was once, according to legend, inhabited by a popular dragon who would protect the area from pirates and thieves. Another version of the story is that the Dragon and the Dracaena inhabited the cave and kept the water as a valuable commodity. The latter is associated with two large, pillow-shaped rocks that are located outside the cave believed to have been used by the ‘couple’ as a place of rest.
Is a wonderful place to see the view and take some amazing pictures.
