Geocache Description:

Welcome to the Farewell to Finder’s Fest geo-art, brought to you by the Forest Minions! This series celebrates weird and unusual things throughout the Sunshine State. Please do not go to the posted locations. Rather, solve the challenging quiz found at the bottom of each page, for the final location. For the letterbox caches, please leave the stamp in the cache. They are not trade items. For the discerning traveler, we’ve included the GPS coordinates for these bizarre locations, when we were able to establish them.

Smallest Police Station – Location 29.8514, -84.6651

Carrabelle on Florida’s Gulf Coast just across the bay from Apalachicola has the World’s smallest police station and it says so on the window. It’s the size of a phone booth, that’s because it was converted from one in 1963. The town only had two police cars and when one was on patrol the other sat by the phone booth. Arrested criminals were taken over the bridge to the Apalachicola jail. A few years ago, Carrabelle built a larger police station but has kept the original one sitting at the corner of Highway 30 and Meridian Street. Locals say it’s the most photographed place in town.

Here is the super duper, way challenging, really hard trivia question, which, if solved properly, will lead you to the final coordinates:

Question: How many noses does a slug have?

A: 42 = N29° 27.867' W81° 46.593'

B: 80 bazillion = N29° 27.867' W81° 46.583'

C: 4 = N29° 27.867' W81° 46.573'
