As a fellow geocacher, I know you can all understand and agree with me, you start looking at everything as a possible cache sight. This is true of this cute, sliver of a park. I was driving by it and checked my Geocaching app to see if there was a cache here, only to find that it was cacheless! How horrible! I'm always NUTS about parks and caches. So a hide was in order.
I made a quick U-turn and parked RIGHT along Allegro Street (the least used of the three roads this park is placed between). It was cool UNDER the shade of the trees, so my walk was very enjoyable. Not much to see, but a nice place to sit, with a gazebo and two BENCHes. Come enjoy the shade of the trees and find a new cache.
There is a plaque by the gazebo, but no name for the park. It does not show on any map as being a park. So, I am hereby naming it Spring Branch Estates Pocket Park so it has a name.
Stealth is required - watch for muggles coming and going. This park is only accessible during daylight hours. Please bring your own pen and return exactly as found. (Make sure to place the log back in the little green sleeve so it is easy to grab and sign.) Thank you and enjoy.
