Geocache Description:

Welcome to the Farewell to Finder’s Fest geo-art, brought to you by the Forest Minions! This series celebrates weird and unusual things throughout the Sunshine State. Please do not go to the posted locations. Rather, solve the challenging quiz found at the bottom of each page, for the final location. For the letterbox caches, please leave the stamp in the cache. They are not trade items. For the discerning traveler, we’ve included the GPS coordinates for these bizarre locations, when we were able to establish them.

Bulow Plantation – Location 29.4351, -81.1423

More than 20 years before Florida became a state, Charles Wilhelm Bulow created the Bulow Plantation, a 900o acre farm, and huge stone building, dedicated to growing sugarcane, and other crops. Bulow used slaves to clear the land, and many died due to the horrific conditions.

During the Seminole Indian Wars, a local militia forced Bulow from his home, so they could use it as a fort. These soldiers, and numerous American Indians were killed during an attack on the plantation. All that remains of the plantation are the stone ruins, which are now a state park. Locals report hearing eerie cries and shouts, coming from the surrounding woods, at night. Legands disagree as to whether these cries come from the deceased slaves, the soldiers, or the American Indians.

Here is the super duper, way challenging, really hard trivia question, which, if solved properly, will lead you to the final coordinates:

Question: What country has a unicorn as its national animal?

A: Mordor = N29° 27.154' W81° 51.584'

B: Hogwarts = N29° 27.154' W81° 51.574'

C: Scotland = N29° 27.154' W81° 51.564'
