This is my first hide, hope you have fun earning a smiley. I grew up not far from Coral Reef Drive and lived in area till after college. While I never saw a coral reef on this road over the years this road was central to many experiences, some crazy, some normal. Small list of experiences that come to mind while here: my Middle school was on this road, golf course we dove for golf balls at to sell to golfers for spending cash, playing golf there when we got older, night golf, brother cut hand grabbing golf balls so he earned trip across the street to Deering Hospital (old name) for stitches, I went after a surfing trip up north resulted in leg needing stitches, walking this road after Hurricane Andrew surveying the damage and for 6 weeks it was the check point road to get back into neighborhood since we had no electricity and national guard was making sure residents were the only ones entering at night, old blimp base where Dad taught us how to drive and that same location then became Metro Zoo now Zoo Miami. I could go on, but you have a cache to find! Hope this road either brings back some memories or helps you make some new ones. Deering Estate close by if you want to take a nice walk or bike ride.
