Geocaching 101 Basics Event Cache

This cache has been archived.

HTBob: Well, the event is over and nicely attended. It looks like most of those there logged their attendance online, but even though it is archived, those that were there can still log their attendance. We hope to do these and follow up events for more in depth learning in the near future. Stay tuned and set your notifications to receive new event listings.

Geocache Description:

30 July 2022, 13:00 - 14:00

July 30th 2021, 1:00pm - 2:00pm

We're meeting at the Ada Public Library for a fun and informational gathering.

Intro to Geocaching Adventures

Now that geocaching events are in full swing, this is one for cachers who are just getting started, or have been away from it long enough that a refresher is a good thing, or for anyone who just wants to spend an hour doing something easy and fun. Experienced cachers are also welcome, of course. We will discuss the basics: cache types and sizes, ratings, locations, dos and don'ts, and more. Afterwards there will be an opportunity to go out in the area and find some of the caches nearby, either alone or in teams. Please log a Will Attend, and we’ll see you there! Snacks and refreshments will be provided.
