Geocache Description:

车陂(Che Bei)别名龙溪，在广州城区东郊、中山大道与黄埔大道之间，原属东圃镇，现属天河区。南宋大学士兼兵部尚书王道夫之裔孙王龙溪建村并大力发展，后人为纪念王龙溪的功德，故将本村改名为龙溪。并于每年端午的龙舟上面，插上有龙溪字样的旗帜以示怀缅。后又因本村属车陂堡，明代称车陂乡，现称车陂村。
