Geocache Description:

Harry Potter alternative: The chamber of secrets

This mystery cache is not at the above co-ordinates, please note that, before you go seeking for something that it is not at the above coordinates. A puzzle is involved to find this one. The second in my 'Harry Potter alternative' series. More below.

The Harry Potter alternate series is one that i have planned for a while, and will have a constant theme for the final location throughout the whole series, for all seven books. It is going to be a trail of seven letterbox hybrids/mystery caches (5 letterboxes, 2 mysteries) (one for each book) which will stretch right from Glascoed (one of my geocaching bases!) to Frome ((A town in England) (my second geocaching base)). As it will be quite a challenge finding them all a badge for anyone who has completed the whole series to put on your profile page. There will be a bookmark list on the side of the page with all the caches in and i will list them below. For this one you have to read the alternative for the 1st book, which i have created myself and decipher it. Feel free to leave what you think of the D/T rating. Obviously the terrains a 1.5 whichever way you  look at it, but the difficulty rating however could be debatable

Congratulations to Cabbage187 on the first to solve only 20 minutes after it being published!

I know what your thinking, this one hasn't added the milage. Well, we're just getting started. Listed below is the real journey and where they are:

So now we have questioned ourselves on the alternate for the philosophers stone we question ourselves on the chamber of secrets. This time there isn't as much to discuss apart from a few events. I personally have a few details of alternative that i would like to include. So here we go. Lets read on. From that moment Harry joined Hogwarts his life was bound to be haunted by Lord Voldemort. He joined Hogwarts when he was 11. Just 11. He grew up, and now he is living his life. But lets say that when Malfoy, Lucius Malfoy put that book in Ginny's bag, it didn't happen. Lets say he didn't put the book in Ginny's bag. Or what if Arthur Weasley had put a stop to it. No that wouldn't happen because he never saw. What if Harry put a stop to it. Lets investigate this matter.

As they were in the shop in Diagonally Harry noticed Lucius put the book in Ginny's bag. He frowned as you may know. But in this story we look at the alternate. As they were walking out of the shop Harry became curious of the diary himself and he pulled it out of Ginny's bag. He pulled it out and look at the cover.

"What are you doing?" hissed Hermione. "That's Ginny's"

"Lucius slipped it in" said Harry. "I need to know whats in it"

"Don't do  anything stupid" said Hermione.

One evening two weeks later in Hogwarts Harry finally opened it. It dazzled him. There was nothing in it. "What?" he muttered. He flicked through it and then decided to write in it. His feelings about how his parents had been brutally killed.

I feel sad even today about how they died.

All he got back was,

Hello Harry Potter. How nice to finally meet you.

And from that day onwards things were a little different. Instead of Ginny being possessed by the diary, Harry was. One evening Ron and Hermione and Harry of course were heading up to the dormitory, when when they would have found Ginny's writing on the wall in the book/film, Harry went off on a wander. He made his way upstairs and wrote something on the wall, that Ginny may have written in the actual book. There were shrieks when people found it and screams. It said basic words that nobody could understand.

And of course Filch's cat had been stunned by the Basilisk at the same time that Harry had done this...

The keyword is Slytherin

And now we move onto part 2. This is when in the book Ginny would be taken down into the chamber of secrets, but this time, Harry is being taken to the chamber of secrets. That night it was disastrous. Many of the events throughout the year had not happened.

"We have bad news" said McGonagall. (Bear in mind Albus had been sacked at this point)

"What is it?" said Severus.

"A boy has been taken into the chamber of secrets. We shall have to get everyone back to their houses" said McGonagall.

"Who?"

"......Harry Potter... Harry Potter" said McGonagall.

"Harry Potter you say?" said Severus.

"Yes"

Severus went quiet and started walking off.

"Hay Lockhart. You told us you knew  the way in from the start. Well do it now. You need to rescue Harry Potter" said McGonagall.

"Yes. Why not? Certainly" said Lockhart. With that he trundled off. Lockhart packed his bags with noone to stop him and that was the last thing they ever heard of him.

But down in the chamber of secrets serious things were going on. Almost all the life had been sucked out of Harry and he lay there stonecold on the floor. The diary lay on the chamber floor next to him in a pool of water, with noone to rescue him. Some words were engraved into the book, about Harry's death in a strange wizardry language.

Harry lay there doomed. Lord Voldemort was rising from the ashes, and becoming his once self. Soon he was stood there in the chamber checking out his new body. "Finally" he said. He looked down at the boy who lived. "Stupid boy. You shall now be known as the boy who died" Lord Voldemort had risen. We can safely say that is what would have happened if Harry Potter had been too curious for his own good and taken that book out of the box. Harry would have died and Lord Voldemort would have risen once again. He would have become himself. (Sorry that Harry had to die again, the later ones won't all involve that!)

Encryption key for the cipher is Albus and then you have to  do something else to get the westings

You can validate your puzzle solution with certitude.
