【稲毛海岸3丁目入口】
第2回 全国 de 一斉公開のイベントを機に、JR稲毛駅から東京湾までの通り沿いに
いくつかキャッシュを隠しました。
稲毛海岸の地名の由来は、元々国道14号線が元々の海岸線だったことに由来します。
第一次埋立地であり、当時のあこがれである団地群がならび、松の木が多く見られます。
浅間神社の鳥居の向かいには、もうひとつ鳥居が設置されており、この鳥居はかつて
海の中に設置されていて、ここを通って漁にむかったと聞いています。
また、向かいの公園は民間飛行機が日本で初めて飛んだ場所で、記念碑がこの公園に
設置されています。
機関車NUS7が設置されており、こちらにも難易度の高いキャッシュが設置されています。
地元民は汽車が設置されていることからこの公園をぽっぽの公園とよび、NUS7の下に
敷かれている緑の緩衝材は、自分を含め何人かの子供が落下したことにより設置された
とのうわさです。
キャッシュは水分補給ポイントの近くに設置しました。
