Come one, come all! It's International Geocaching Day and there is an opportunuty for a souvineer! Anyone who finds a cache or logs an event on August 20, 2022 will earn the souvineer. Many geocachers may be travelling over this date for a variety of reasons, but this event is for those who are sticking around town!
More over, there is an opportunity to break the World Record for most geocachers finding a cache or attending an event in one day! The previous record of 126,833 geocachers was August 11, 2013. So do your part and find a cache for a chance to earn a second souvineer if the record can be broken!
The site for the event is on the outside patio of O.H.S.O. Eatery & Brewery. There are misters and shade for cooling, as it is obviously to hot to be outside otherwise. As always, eating is optional, and no purchase is necessary!
There will be a logbook to sign (optional) & a spot to trade Travel Bugs as well. Please post a Will Attend so the number of attendees can be anticipated. Perhaps there will be a nearby FTF available as well...Hope to see you there!
