Samal aastal püstitati see mälestuskivi, esimesele hukkunud Eesti motosportlasele.
ENG: You can become first in different ways …
Year was 1937 when Elmar Sauga started his race on Rudge motorcycle six minutes after his competitor. Wheels were good and speeds were high for that time. At this point, however, road suddenly changed from smooth asphalt to a cobblestone road, and he lost control at a speed of 90 km per hour and fell. It is not known exactly what happened next, it is believed that the competitor he had passed ran over him. But no one knows for sure. This memorial stone was erected in the same year, for the first deceased motosportsman in Estonia.
