The cache is near this memorial park, named for a 3 year old boy who drowned near here in 1960. This cache is placed in honor of the memorials located here. "The various memorials focus on the modern military era, from 1990 to current conflicts, and include a mural featuring silhouetted soldiers and a military dog in a desert setting since many of the recent conflicts occurred in such environments" There is also a replica wall of hanging dog tags. "The ID Tag Memorial on which hang replica ID tags, or dog tags. A veteran's replica tags can be hung in the section for their service era. Top row sections are for the Vietnam War era, the Cold War era and the Global War on Terrorism. The sections below are for any veterans."
To find the cache you will need to seek out the red, white and blue to be able to sign the log. A few older cachers might be a bit rusty in finding this one but persevere and keep looking.
