Welcome to our first Geocache hide. We wanted this cache to be different than other caches you are used to so instead of leaving a puzzle, we would like you to do a magic trick with us; please click on the link below for the video of the magic trick. Before you leave, please replace the lock and reset the numbers for the next geocacher. The lock will only lock while the code is displayed aligned with the word Master.
If you are unable to view the video, the following is a text description of the trick so you can preform it yourself without watching it online.
To solve the lock combo we will use a piece of magic called mentalism, this is magic with our minds. If you open your mind to receive, I will now attempt to send you a number using magic to your mind. This number that I would like you to think of is a three digit number. The first and the last number are not close. For example, 192 would not be an acceptable number. Pick a three digit number where the first digit and the last digit are at least two apart. For example 193 would be an acceptable number. For the example below, I will use 123. Do not let me influence the number you pick, it may or may not be one of these two numbers; other than that rule, pick any three digit number now.
Now let's randomize the number you are thinking of and reverse it. We will now take the two numbers you are thinking of an subtract the larger from the smaller. In my example, 123, the reverse is 321. The math problem would look like this:

The solution will be 198. Your number may be different and that is okay. This is a magic trick for you, not for me. We will continue to randomize this number by reversing your new number and adding these two new numbers together. My example will look something like this:

Once you add your two numbers together, you should have a four digit number. Line that number up on the lock aligned with the word Master on the left and pull down. If our minds made a connection, you should now have an open lock and access to our magical cache.
